When we were dating, I told Tyler that I had never had a "song" before. A few days later he told me he wanted me to hear something. He played me a song I don't think I had ever heard before. To this day I think he couldn't have made a better choice: Better Together by Jack Johnson.

In 6 years we have been through...well, we have been through so much. So much. And every time something goes wrong, I can't help but think, "It's always better when we're together". I don't know how I would have made it through everything with my son and school without my wonderful Tyler. He is my rock, my safe place. I know no matter what, he will be there and help me through. I don't have to be someone else, he loves me even though he knows me better than anyone else.
For our 6th anniversary, we spent the weekend in SLC....sick. We both ended up getting the flu (not the stomach kind thank goodness). We spent most of the weekend in pain (for sicker eh?) and you know what? It was still a good time. There is no one I would rather be sick with. I love that man.
It really is always better when we are together.
